SADIE’S RESCUE
A black Labrador retriever-mix named Sadie was rescued after being swept out to sea by a rip current off the San Diego coast. Her owners tracked her using an Airtag after she escaped during a football game, leading surfers to alert lifeguards. After an extensive search, lifeguards found her about half a mile offshore; she was tired but happy to be saved. Despite some injuries to her paws, Sadie is recovering well and has reunited with her grateful owners.
