Rotorua crash: Car plunges into Lake Rotoiti, road delays expected

A vehicle went into the water at Lake Rotoiti near Rotorua following a two-vehicle crash on State Highway 30 near Wharetoroa Rd. The police responded to the incident just before 1pm, with one vehicle ending up in the water. The sole occupant of the vehicle, who suffered serious injuries, has been rescued, and while the road remains open, motorists in the area should anticipate delays.
