LG to Allow Deletion of Microsoft Copilot Shortcut on TVs
LG has announced that users will soon be able to delete the Microsoft Copilot shortcut that was installed on newer TVs, responding to complaints on social media about the unremovable icon. The shortcut, which opens the Copilot web app in the TV’s browser, was introduced through a recent webOS update. LG spokesperson Chris De Maria confirmed that microphone features are only activated with user consent, but no specific timeline for the deletion option was provided.
