An eventful first hour of practice at the Monaco Grand Prix featured Charles Leclerc, who overcame two early incidents, including a red flag situation, to top the timing sheets. Traffic issues plagued several drivers, notably Lewis Hamilton, who had to abort a flying lap due to slower cars and narrowly avoided a crash after being airborne at the swimming pool. Despite the challenges, Leclerc secured the fastest time, with Max Verstappen and Lando Norris following, while Hamilton finished in P9, as practice continues with FP2 later today and qualifying tomorrow.
