Lenovo and Motorola’s Smart Connect makes it easier to manage tasks across your devices
Share on FacebookShare on Twitter

Motorola and Lenovo have introduced a new tool at MWC 2024 called Smart Connect, which enables users to seamlessly switch tasks between different devices. For example, you can move a podcast from your phone to your tablet without losing your place with a simple swipe gesture. Additionally, you can easily share files between connected devices using the Share Hub. The full list of compatible devices has not been released yet, but Smart Connect will work with Lenovo PCs running Windows 10 or later, as well as some Lenovo tablets and Motorola devices.

Smart Connect allows users to navigate between multiple devices using the same keyboard and mouse without any interruptions. It also provides synced notifications across connected devices. The tool includes a smart clipboard feature that serves as a single clipboard for all connected devices, allowing users to copy and paste items seamlessly. Furthermore, Smart Connect enables users to turn their phone into a hotspot for a connected tablet or PC, use it as a webcam, and cast content from their phones to other connected devices for a better viewing experience. Smart Connect will be available in the Microsoft Store and Google Play Store in the coming months.

In addition to Smart Connect, Motorola is showcasing its adaptive display concept, which was introduced last fall. This concept features a rollable display that can be morphed into different shapes to suit various needs, such as a tent-style setup that allows it to stand on its own or wrapped around a person’s wrist like a watch.
