Lebanon PM condemns Israel’s actions after attack kills three rescue workers

Lebanon’s Prime Minister Nawaf Salam accused Israel of committing a “heinous crime” after Israeli airstrikes in Majdal Zoun killed five people, including three civil defense workers responding to an initial attack. Salam condemned the targeting of humanitarian personnel as a violation of international humanitarian law, while President Joseph Aoun highlighted the ongoing attacks on relief workers. Despite a US-mediated ceasefire, Israeli strikes continue to inflict casualties across Lebanon, with over 2,500 reported deaths since March.
