Lebanese ‘orphaned of their land’ as Israel blows up homes

Law professor Ali Mourad discovered Israel had dynamited his family’s south Lebanon home through a video sent to his phone. The footage shows simultaneous explosions destroying buildings in the village of Aitroun, where Mourad’s 83-year-old father, a paediatrician, had his medical practice. Israel’s destruction of homes in border villages has been condemned as a war crime by Lebanon’s National Human Rights Commission.
