Lawyers for convicted baby killer Lucy Letby and former executives at Countess of Chester Hospital in England have requested to halt an inquiry into infant deaths after a medical panel found no evidence of a crime, despite Letby’s multiple life sentences. The panel of experts concluded that natural causes or bad medical care led to the deaths, casting doubt on Letby’s guilt. Letby’s convictions are under review, while additional investigations into corporate manslaughter continue.
