Claude Marchand, president and CEO of LaSalle College, announced that the private Montreal college is contesting fines totaling over $21 million imposed by the Ministry of Higher Education for exceeding its student enrollment quota in English-language programs. This legal challenge is taking place in Quebec’s Superior Court and includes penalties from the previous year.
