Lando Norris wins F1 World Championship in Abu Dhabi

Lando Norris has clinched his first Formula 1 World Drivers’ Championship by finishing third in the final race in Abu Dhabi, while his McLaren team also secured the Constructors’ Championship. Max Verstappen won the race but fell short of surpassing Norris’s season total of 423 points. Norris’s teammate, Oscar Piastri, finished second in the race and third overall with 410 points. Celebrating his victory, Norris expressed his gratitude to his team and family, becoming the first British champion since Lewis Hamilton in 2020.
