Singer LaMonte McLemore, a founding member of The 5th Dimension, has passed away at 90 due to natural causes after a stroke. Known for their smooth blend of pop and soul, the group achieved major hits in the 1960s and ’70s, winning six Grammy Awards, including for “Up, Up and Away” and “Aquarius/Let the Sunshine In.” McLemore also had a successful career as a sports photographer. He is survived by his wife, daughter, son, sister, and three grandchildren.
