LaFargeville comes together to welcome home STATE CHAMPS | Frontier League

The LaFargeville Lady Red Knights varsity basketball team returned home to a celebratory parade after winning their first state championship by defeating Northville 43-37 in the Class D championship game. Community members, including the Rapins and teacher Susie Erck, gathered to show support for the players, with Adeline Hellings and Ella Hunnyman expressing gratitude for the community’s backing. Coach Zack Steiner praised the team’s hard work and bond, leading to a record of 22-2 and the school’s first state title in 2025.
