Kouri Richins found guilty of murdering her husband

Kouri Richins, a Utah mother, has been found guilty of murdering her husband, Eric Richins, by poisoning him with a lethal dose of fentanyl in March 2022. Following about three hours of jury deliberation, she was convicted on multiple felony charges, including aggravated murder, which carries a potential life sentence. Richins, who gained attention for a children’s book on grief after her husband’s death, faces additional charges related to mortgage fraud. A sentencing hearing is set for May 13.
