The incident occurred around 1:05 a.m. during routine security checks in Terminal 1, where officers encountered the suspect, who was tased but continued to advance. Both officers involved have prior law enforcement experience and have been with STL Airport Police for six months and one year, respectively. The airport’s operations continued normally during the investigation, and the suspect’s identity has not yet been released.
