Killamarsh killer receives life sentence for prison attack with claw hammer

Damien Bendall, a convicted child killer, has received another life sentence for the attempted murder of a fellow inmate at HMP Frankland. Bendall attacked Michael Mullaney with a claw hammer, striking him four times in the head during an unprovoked assault. This violent act follows his previous conviction for murdering his pregnant partner, Terri Harris, and her three children in 2021, for which he was handed a whole-life order.
