A man’s birthday celebration took a turn for the worse when he broke a tooth while eating crispy pork crackling. He argued that the snack was not “fit for purpose” and sought $2000 from the manufacturer to cover his dental expenses. The company contested his claim, stating there was no evidence that their product had caused the tooth damage, leading to the dispute being taken to the Disputes Tribunal for resolution.
