Kansas (6-2) defeated No. 16 Tennessee (7-1) 81-76 in the Players Era Men’s Championship at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. Despite leading 41-34 at halftime, Tennessee’s Nate Ament scored 20 points, while Jaylen Carey contributed 10 rebounds and four assists. Kansas out-rebounded Tennessee 37-36 and committed fewer turnovers. Tennessee will face Syracuse next on Dec. 2 at 7 p.m. EST (ESPN2).
