Kamala Harris reminds us a vote for Biden is a vote to hand her the White House keys

The Biden campaign has decided to increase Vice President Kamala Harris’ visibility by having her hit the campaign trail. This decision reflects the belief that it is better to choose what they consider the lesser of two evils rather than keeping her hidden from the public eye.

However, the increased visibility of Harris may serve as a reminder to voters that she is likely to take over as President should President Biden become incapable of fulfilling his duties. This reminder may also highlight her unpopularity among voters.

Recent polling data shows that Harris has a net favorability rating of -17.2, while Biden’s rating stands at -14.5. Her unpopularity seems to stem from personal qualities such as her struggles with unscripted speech, odd behavior, and perceived lack of principles.

Despite her historic status as the first woman, African-American, and Indian-American Vice President, Harris’ unsuccessful 2020 presidential bid and lack of significant achievements have contributed to her negative public image.

While Harris is being sent to campaign in states like North Carolina, which may not play a critical role in the election, the Biden campaign is focusing on swing states like Arizona, Georgia, and Michigan to secure victory. The campaign is aware that concerns about Biden’s age and the prospect of Harris becoming President may increase voter doubts.

If Harris visits your state in the coming months, it may indicate that the state is not a key battleground. However, hearing from her may be a small price to pay to avoid being inundated with endless campaign advertisements.
