Toddler in hospital after dog attack at child’s birthday party
A young child is in hospital after a dog attack during a birthday party in Hardwick, Stockton-On-Tees. The toddler, aged two to three, sustained non-life-threatening head and arm injuries and was taken to University Hospital of North Tees. Cleveland Police have seized the dog, reportedly a Pitbull cross, and taken it to specialist kennels while investigating the incident, which occurred on Chopwell Close, with eyewitnesses describing the situation as alarming.
