Julie Taton’s Candidacy Rejected Amid Residency Controversy

Julie Taton, a Federal MP, faced address verification issues when trying to run in local elections in Mons, leading to her rejection which was upheld by the court. Despite this setback, Taton, who received over 23,000 votes in the Federal elections, is now vying for a spot in the local elections as the second candidate on MR’s Mons en Mieux list, headed by Georges-Louis Bouchez.
