Judge to seat jury in trial of ex-prosecutor accused of shielding Ahmaud Arbery’s killers

Jury selection is concluding in the trial of former Georgia prosecutor Jackie Johnson, charged with interfering in the investigation of Ahmaud Arbery’s killing by white men. Johnson denies wrongdoing and faces felony and misdemeanor charges. The trial is expected to last two weeks at the same courthouse where Arbery’s assailants were convicted of murder in 2021.
