Tony Roberts, a Nonchalant Pal in Woody Allen’s Films, Dies at 85
In his first movie with Mr. Allen, Mr. Roberts starred in the comedy "Play It Again, Sam" as a businessman who neglects his wife while focusing on business. The film originated from a Broadway stage production in 1969 where Mr. Roberts, Mr. Allen, and Ms. Keaton played their respective roles.
