Mourinho leaves door open for Madrid return

Fenerbahce head coach José Mourinho has not ruled out managing Real Madrid again, praising current coach Carlo Ancelotti. Former Madrid midfielder Xabi Alonso is a front-runner to succeed Ancelotti, who has a contract with Madrid through June 2026. Mourinho believes Madrid president Florentino Perez will make the right decision when choosing Ancelotti’s successor, as Madrid currently sits second in LaLiga and is performing well in the Champions League.
