COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) — Ohio State defeated Minnesota 82-74 in overtime, led by John Mobley Jr.’s 26 points and Bruce Thornton’s 23 points, seven rebounds, and four steals. Devin Royal contributed five of his 16 points in overtime, while Christoph Tilly added 11 points. Minnesota’s Jaylen Crocker-Johnson scored a career-high 26 points, but the team suffered its fourth consecutive loss. Ohio State will face No. 3 Michigan next, while Minnesota hosts No. 7 Nebraska.
