US defense chief claims Iran cannot endure in conflict

Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth stated that “Iran cannot outlast us” as the U.S. expands its military campaign following recent coordinated strikes with Israel that resulted in the deaths of Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei and other officials. Hegseth emphasized that the U.S. is accelerating its operations, while Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Dan Caine reported that over 2,000 targets have been hit and more strikes into Iranian territory are planned.
