Man questioned in Missouri teacher’s murder seen eating notebook pages

Lead homicide detective Mark Biondolino began investigating the murder of Jocelyn Peters, a 30-year-old teacher, in March 2016 and has remained involved even after retiring. Peters was found dead in her secure apartment, where authorities noted no signs of forced entry and found a single shell casing near her body. Investigators also discovered potato fragments at the scene, suggesting an unusual method may have been used in the crime. Her boyfriend, Cornelius Green, who had keys to her apartment, was out of town at the time of her death.
