J&K Youth Services and Sports order for ABVP’s kabaddi, wrestling championship withdrawn

The J&K Department of Youth Services and Sports withdrew an order allowing the ABVP to hold a kabaddi and wrestling championship in Doda district, following public outcry. The government also issued a prohibition order on granting permission for political activities, prompting criticism from opposition parties and student associations. The controversy comes after an additional magistrate directed students to attend an ABVP Tiranga Rally, which was later deemed as inappropriate by Deputy Chief Minister Surinder Choudhary.
