Jess Fishlock Named 2025 Nos Galan Mystery Runner

Wales’ most capped footballer, Jess Fishlock, was revealed as the mystery runner for the Nos Galan road race in Mountain Ash on New Year’s Eve. The event, held annually since 1958, features a prominent sports figure who lays a wreath at the grave of legendary runner Guto Nyth Brân. Fishlock, who retired in October after 166 appearances and 48 goals for Wales, inspired many as she carried the torch to start the race. Organisers praised her as a role model for young athletes in attendance.
