JD Vance Declines To Label Russia’s Vladimir Putin An ‘Enemy’ Of The US

Republican vice presidential nominee Senator JD Vance of Ohio refused to label Russian President Vladimir Putin as an “enemy” of the United States, instead calling him an “adversary” and emphasizing the need for strategic diplomacy in addressing the conflict in Ukraine. Vance advocated for pursuing peace with Russia while condemning their invasion of Ukraine and criticised Vice President Kamala Harris for the current state of affairs. He also highlighted the importance of NATO members, like Germany, increasing their defense spending and pledged to maintain US involvement in the alliance under a potential Trump presidency.
