The North Carolina Court of Appeals recently ruled on the case of Tom Martens and his daughter Molly Corbett, who were convicted of second-degree murder for the 2015 killing of Molly’s husband, Jason Corbett. They claimed self-defense, alleging Jason choked Molly and threatened her life, while prosecutors argued it was murder. Jason’s sister, Tracey Lynch, contends they not only killed him but also sought to tarnish his character, asserting he was a loving father and kind individual, and expressing disbelief at his tragic death.
