The Philippines and Japan signed two defense pacts, including a deal for tax-free supply exchanges during joint military training, amid rising tensions with China.

Japanese Foreign Minister Toshimitsu Motegi and Philippine Foreign Secretary Theresa Lazaro announced these agreements, which aim to enhance military cooperation and readiness.
