Japan demands Denmark extradite Sea Shepherd founder Paul Watson over whale hunting clash

The Japanese government is urging the Danish government to follow the rule of law and extradite Paul Watson, the Sea Shepherd founder, for trial in Tokyo. Watson was arrested in Greenland on an Interpol warrant from 2012 for a clash with a Japanese whaling ship in the Antarctic Ocean in 2010. Tokyo is requesting his transfer to face charges related to the incident.
