SINGAPORE: Driver Sunny Tan Boon Heng, 68, was sentenced to five weeks in jail and a six-month driving ban after injuring 61-year-old Lin Yansong with scissors during a road rage incident. The altercation began when Lin attempted to overtake Tan, leading to a confrontation where Tan, after making a rude gesture, scuffled with Lin, resulting in a minor injury. The court deemed the incident a serious road rage case, rejecting defense claims that it was not related to road rage and emphasizing the need for a deterrent sentence due to the involvement of a weapon.
