Jack Smith to testify before House Judiciary Committee this month.

Former special counsel Jack Smith is set to publicly testify before the House Judiciary Committee this month, following a nine-hour closed-door deposition last month. The committee is investigating Smith’s actions during his term, particularly his prosecutions of President Trump, which led to over 40 federal charges. Smith defended his cases against Trump, stating evidence pointed to Trump’s culpability in the alleged crimes. The upcoming public hearing comes after initial private testimony, with Democrats welcoming the move and Republicans facing criticism for their handling of the proceedings.
