Shooting in Waitārere Beach leaves one dead, three injured

One person has died, and three others are critically injured following a shooting in Waitārere Beach, Horowhenua district. The local mayor labeled the incident a “tragic family incident.” Emergency services responded to the scene around 12:40 am after a 111 call was made. Among the injured are a woman and two teenage boys, all suffering life-threatening injuries.
