Peter Laupama’s robbery acquittal returned to Rotorua District Court

A terminally ill man in Rotorua was victimized when a man, Peter George Junior Laupama, falsely identified himself as a Jehovah’s Witness, then forced his way in with a gun. Laupama stole the man’s medication and $200, also attempting to coerce the victim into working for him at a rate of $900 per week.
