Residents of Waiuku, Auckland, are advised to keep windows and doors shut due to a large rubbish fire fueled by plastic and shipping containers. The police are treating the incident as suspicious, and those in the vicinity of Kitchener Rd are urged to cover their faces and limit outdoor activities to essential reasons only. Firefighters battled the blaze throughout the night after receiving multiple calls at 10:55 PM on Monday.
