An Israeli strike on Beirut on Friday resulted in at least three deaths and over a dozen injuries, marking the first attack on the Lebanese capital in months following Hezbollah’s rocket attacks on northern Israel. Israel confirmed the strike but did not disclose the specific target in Beirut’s southern suburbs controlled by Hezbollah. Lebanon’s Health Ministry confirmed the casualties and stated that the strike caused significant damage in the area.
