BAKU, Azerbaijan, March 11. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has announced that the Israeli army will cease military operations in the Gaza Strip within the next two months, as reported by Trend.

“It may take six weeks, or maybe four,” he added.

Netanyahu stated that the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have already eliminated 75% of the “combat terrorist battalions of the Hamas group.”

“We are nearing the final stages,” he commented.

An attack on Israel took place on October 7, involving a massive rocket assault from the Gaza Strip, as well as militants infiltrating by land, sea, and air.

Following the rocket attack, Israel declared a state of war and Defense Minister Yoav Gallant called for the mobilization of reservists.
