Israeli couple shot dead in Washington DC named – as attack condemned | US News

In Washington DC, two Israeli embassy workers, Yaron Lischinsky and Sarah Lynn Milgram, were tragically shot dead by a gunman as they left an event at the Capital Jewish Museum. The suspect, who reportedly chanted a pro-Palestinian slogan while in custody, was captured after the shooting took place just over a mile from the White House. Israel’s ambassador to the US revealed that Lischinsky had recently purchased an engagement ring, intending to propose to Milgram soon.
