Israel stops the delivery of aid to Gaza until Hamas accepts U.S. ceasefire extension

Israel has stopped the entry of goods and supplies into the Gaza Strip due to Hamas’ refusal to extend the ceasefire. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s office stated that Hamas must release Israeli hostages for the ceasefire to continue, and threatened further consequences if Hamas does not comply. Hamas accused Israel of trying to evade the ceasefire agreement framework. The ceasefire was implemented in three phases, with the second phase set to begin soon but negotiations have failed to reach an agreement.
