Gaza’s Health Ministry says it also received the remains of 45 Palestinians from Israel through the Red Cross.
As part of a fragile ceasefire with Hamas, Israel has released five Palestinian prisoners, providing relief for families in Gaza. Meanwhile, Gaza’s Health Ministry reported the return of 45 Palestinian remains, raising the total to 270 under the ceasefire agreement. Despite the truce, Israel has faced accusations of multiple ceasefire violations, including recent attacks that resulted in casualties. Families continue to seek identification of the returned bodies, some showing signs of torture, amidst concerns of renewed hostilities.
