Israel rejects Trump’s plan for Gaza

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced that Israel has rejected U.S. President Donald Trump’s Board of Peace plan for Gaza, stating that Israeli forces will remain until Hamas is fully disarmed. At a cabinet meeting, Netanyahu emphasized that the Israeli army will not withdraw until Hamas poses no threat. The U.S.-led Board of Peace had previously indicated that any Israeli withdrawal would be contingent upon Hamas’s disarmament.
