The IDF has requested that Ireland remove its peacekeepers from an outpost on the Lebanese-Israeli border amid ongoing Israeli invasion of Lebanon. The request was made to Unifil and individual countries contributing troops, but Ireland has been informed that its troops will remain in place at the Blue Line outpost. This outpost is a key location on the border where tensions between Israel and Lebanon are high.
