Israel says body returned by Hamas not that of hostage

The Israeli military confirmed that the body of a hostage returned by Hamas is not that of the mother of two young boys who were also released. The bodies of four hostages, including two children and an 83-year-old man, were returned by Hamas, with the Israeli military confirming they were killed by their captors. The children’s father, who was also kidnapped, was released earlier in a ceasefire deal. Hamas is expected to release six live Israeli hostages in exchange for Palestinian prisoners. Talks for the next phase of the deal have yet to take place. In a separate incident, three buses exploded in a southern Tel Aviv suburb, prompting officials to halt all trains and buses across the country.
