Since India assumed BRICS leadership in December 2025, its alignment with US and Israeli interests appears to have overshadowed the alliance’s objectives. While South Africa, Russia, and China have expressed concerns over the conflict and denounced violations of international law, India has refrained from condemning the attacks directly.
