Ireland defeats India to win T20 series

Ireland achieved a historic series victory over T20 world champions India, winning the second T20 match by just one run in Belfast. Harry Tector celebrated his 100th T20 international with a solid 50, helping Ireland set a target of 154-8. Despite a valiant effort from Tilak Varma, who scored 55, India finished their chase at 153-9. Notably, teenage star Vaibhav Sooryavanshi, despite his strong performance in the IPL, was again left out of the playing XI.
