Marc Conway, a hero of the Fishmongers’ Hall terror attack, warns that more prisoners on indefinite jail terms, like his Imprisonment for Public Protection (IPP) sentence, may lose their lives under a “sentence of no hope”. Despite being hailed as a hero for helping tackle terrorist Usman Khan, Conway feared his actions would land him back in prison under his strict licence conditions. After finally being freed from his IPP sentence, he calls for urgent help for the remaining 2,600 IPP prisoners still trapped with no release date.
