An intruder, Derek Egan, 39, was arrested for trespassing at Kensington Palace twice in December 2023, first on the 21st and again on the 23rd. The judge denied him bail pending further security assessments. Kensington Palace is home to several royal family members, though it is unclear if any were present during the incidents.
