The Intel Core Ultra 7 265K is positioned as the successor to the Core i7-14700K, featuring 8 P-Cores and 8 threads with a base frequency of 3.9 GHz and a boost up to 5.5 GHz. Additionally, it includes 12 E-Cores with 12 threads, operating at a base frequency of 3.3 GHz and boosting up to 4.6 GHz. The processor has 30 MB of L3 cache, 36 MB of L2 cache, a base TDP of 125W, and a maximum turbo power of 250W, priced at $395 per 1,000 units. The new Arrow Lake CPUs have moved to the LGA1851 socket and support dual-channel DDR5 memory, PCIe 5.0 lanes, and an unlocked multiplier for overclocking. In benchmark tests, the 265K showed strong performance in both multi-core and single-core tasks, outperforming previous models like the 14700K and 9900X.
